Orders for small packages (under 165 lbs and under UPS maximum size requirements) are shipped primarily from our Canton Michigan location. Some items are drop-shipped directly from our manufacturers. Colwellequipment.com will ship orders within 48 hours of receiving an order Saturday through Thursday. Orders received Friday will ship in 72 hours, and standard shipping can take 5 to 10 business days. Saturday, Sunday, and holidays do not count towards order processing or shipping time. All orders are shipped via UPS. UPS will not deliver to a PO Box or an APO/FPO so please provide a physical address for a UPS delivery. Orders for larger items will ship via Motor Freight and will ship in 1 -2 weeks from date of order. Freight carrier will be determined by destination and the best rates available. Colwellequipment.com will do our best to contact our customers with trucking company's contact information and delivery tracking information. Customers are responsible to communicate with trucking company's dispatch to schedule large item deliveries. Colwellequipment.com can not guarantee freight company's delivery schedule. Customer is responsible to inspect for freight damage upon delivery and choose to refuse all damaged items or accept damaged items with hand written notes regarding any damage to be claimed on the freight Bill of Lading( delivery tickets provided by driver) signed by consignee and the driver. Colwellequipment.com is not responsible for freight damage and all damage claims must be filed directly by the customer in a timely manner with the freight company. Expedited Shipping Express shipping is always given top priority. Please note that express shipping can still take up to 4 business days. Returns & Refunds Items that have been used, washed, worn, or damaged in any way
cannot be returned or exchanged. Colwell Equipment Co., Inc. Returns or exchanges will be credited the same day they arrive. Do not return merchandise without including your name, a copy of the receipt, and an explanation for the return. It is recommended that you use a shipper that provides shipment tracking, as we are not responsible for lost return shipments. The customer is responsible for shipping charges and insurance.
C.O.D. shipments will be refused. If Colwell Equipment has made a
mistake on your order or the merchandise was defective, we will pay
the ground shipping back to us by issuing a call tag for UPS to pick
the items up. Please be prepared to repackage the items for the
return pick up.
